Summer Session Huakaʻi
. We all had a wonderful time visiting Aliʻi Agricultural Farms! Many of our keiki caught a fish (or more!) and then set them back free! It was a great huakaʻi to tie in what the keiki have been learning this summer about loko i‘a (fish pond), wai (fresh water), kai (ocean), and how a healthy relationship between all of these ecosystems is important for both people and animals. Our Summer Session includes an integrated S.T.E.A.M. curriculum related to our home in Hawaiʻi. There is one huakaʻi (excursion) per session, water play days, and plenty of outdoor fun to make it a memorable summer for our keiki!
