(5-6 years old)

Students may choose to remain in our Montessori Primary or Dual Language (3-6 years old) programs, or they may choose our Kindergarten Program, if age eligible.  This program is designed for children that turn 5 years old on or before July 31st, and provides a combination of Montessori teaching as well as textbooks for an additional resource.  This program is aimed at serving as a bridge to our Elementary Program.

The Kindergarten curriculum is highly individualized, allowing for acceleration or reinforcement when appropriate. Curriculum is research-oriented, grounded in S.T.E.A.M (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) foundations, and incorporates Christian and cultural values. The school provides a pragmatic balance between encouraging creative exploration and developing skills particularly in the areas of reading, writing, and math.  In addition, the curriculum is aimed at strengthening the keiki's sense of self and their understanding of the world around them through the exploration of arts, science, geography, anthropology, history, culture and oceanography.
